We guide students through the entire college preparation and admissions process to help families stay organized and avoid the most common mistakes. We offer comprehensive Freshman - Senior and Sophomore - Senior packages for families who want long-term guidance, while others want our popular Junior-Senior package to help them decide on a major, develop a college list, and brainstorm and edit their college essays. Julie's experience, knowledge, and guidance will help your student achieve their dreams. Our timeline:

9th Grade Coaching Package
Not sure where to start? Freshman students and parents often have questions about what classes they should take and how to demonstrate leadership. Together, we will meet to draft a four-year academic and extracurricular plan that will give students a high school roadmap that can easily be adjusted. We will also help students discover extracurricular and leadership opportunities.

10th - 12th Grade Comprehensive Package
During our initial meeting, we answer any questions that parents and students may have, discuss high school classes and leadership activities, and recommend personality and interest tests. We work together to create an ACT/SAT test preparation schedule, explore options to develop confidence and leadership with summer programs and discuss volunteer or work experiences.

11th - 12th Grade Comprehensive Package
Want to know how to avoid college stress? Plan ahead! Working together and considering the student's personality, interests, test scores, and GPA, we carefully craft a unique college list. In the spring and summer, we meet to discuss and refine the list. We help identify internships, volunteer opportunities, and academic enrichment programs for the summer between junior and senior years. We discuss college finances and merit aid, well as in-state and out-of-state colleges and private vs. public universities.

Essay Plus Package - Summer before 12th Grade (15 Hours)
The summer before senior year is a great time for students to pursue an interest outside of school. We can help them find jobs, internships, academic programs, or volunteer positions. We guide students through the college essay brainstorming, drafting, and editing process during the summer so they can have exceptional essays finished early in their senior year.

College Essentials - 12th Grade
For seniors who have done substantial work on their essays and applications, senior year is a breeze. They can submit their applications early and relax. We assist students through the fall to mid-December, helping them to stay organized and finish their supplemental, scholarship, or honors essays. Once a student has multiple acceptances in hand, we are available to meet with the family to discuss the pros and cons of each college and help you make the final decision!
